Possibility of the bed base having evidence on it

Does anyone else agree I’m right that the possibility of forensic evidence being located on the bed base is high and that I’m not over-reacting.

Detective Inspector Kevin Brown, of South Yorkshire Police, said:

“Although the bed base was found at the site where Pat Grainger’s body was discovered, there is no evidence to connect it with her murder.

Daniel, who set up the Whokilledmymum.com website, said: “No mattter what the police say there must have been the potential for forensic evidence to have been found on the bed base, if not now then who knows what will be capable with advances of technology in the future?

“It only takes a speck of evidence to link somebody to a crime scene now, so in the future there could have been the opportunity to have found something on it – but now we will never know.

“Whoever killed my mum had to touch the bed base to put it on top of her.”

  1. Completely agree with you danny keep making a fuss and they will have to start doing something, keep pushing for a crime watch appeal

  2. i never knew pat grainger she was a friend of a friend but funnily enough i was watching forensic detectives and they tested a sample after 30 years just 1 speck of blood and linked it to the murderer and i actally thought i wonder if any dna or sample had been taken and put on a database at th time , i hope you get some kind of justice

  3. 100% agree with u, whoever qut the base there obviously had to touch it!!

  4. I think it should defo be aired on Crimewatch.Someone has got to know something.x

  5. I will should they not get the case on crime watch after our next meeting x

  6. Ye i was thinking the same,id try n look into that.x

  7. They think they can’t but I’m sure if I contacted my solicitor he would think different but I’m not at that point yet im just wanting them to fix there mess and solve this x

  8. Well like you said, they must have touched it to try n hide her under it so that in anyones eyes is a big piece of evidence, its an outreage, cant the police get done for that?

  9. That’s what we said when they tried to tell us its not significant as its a removable object, My argument is that although i don’t like the wording my mum was a removable object and any items around her should have been kept and saved as evidence, But they don’t think its such a big deal. ;@

  10. Makes you wonder what other evidence they may have discarded

  11. I agree,Its totally disgusting,i thought that wouldve been the biggest part other than the murder weapon for the investigation,They should never be allowed to get rid of important evidence like that,i would be fuming if i was in your shoes aswell.
